The problem most organisations face

Every leadership team is under pressure to act on AI. But acting without clarity is expensive. You either invest in the wrong place, rely on vendors who overstate what AI can actually do, or end up with a pilot project that never turns into anything real.

The question is not whether AI can help your business. It almost certainly can. The question is where it helps most, what it will realistically cost, and what you need to do in what order. That is precisely what this audit answers.

What the AI opportunity audit is

The AI Opportunity Audit is a structured engagement. I come into your business, assess your current operations, systems and digital landscape, and identify where AI creates the most measurable value.

You receive a clear, jargon-free report with prioritised recommendations ranked by return on investment. No padding, no vendor pitches, no vague roadmaps that go nowhere.

You will know exactly where AI adds value in your business, what it is worth and what to do next.

Who this is for

The audit is designed for leadership teams in established organisations who:

  • Know AI matters but are not sure where to start or what to prioritise
  • Have already tried AI tools without seeing a clear return
  • Are preparing a business case for AI investment and need credible analysis to support it
  • Want an independent view, not a sales pitch from a technology vendor

It works particularly well for organisations in legal and professional services, financial services, property, hospitality and not-for-profit sectors.

How it works

1. Discovery
We begin with a structured briefing session covering your business model, your current technology stack, your key processes and your commercial priorities. I will ask direct questions and expect direct answers. The more context you share, the sharper the output will be.
2. Analysis
We map your operations against a structured AI opportunity framework. This covers cost reduction, revenue generation, decision-making and risk management. We review your existing digital footprint, your data maturity and the likely integration points across your systems.
3. Research and validation
We cross-reference the opportunities identified against real-world implementations in comparable organisations, validate the ROI assumptions and begin building the prioritised opportunity matrix.
4. Report build
The full audit report is built, covering each opportunity in plain language with a clear explanation of what AI would do, what the realistic return looks like and what the implementation effort involves.
5. Presentation and Q&A
We present the findings directly to your leadership team in a focused session. You ask the questions, challenge the assumptions and leave with a clear picture of what to do next. The session is designed for decision-makers, not technical teams.

What you receive

  • A prioritised list of your top five to seven AI opportunities, ranked by ROI
  • An AI readiness assessment covering your data, systems and team
  • A set of quick wins you can act on within 30 days without significant investment
  • A 90-day action plan for the highest-value opportunity
  • A clear recommendation on whether an implementation sprint makes sense and what that would involve

The report is written to be shared. It is a working document, not a slide deck.

Investment

From £2,000 for organisations up to 20 people.

Pricing is fixed and agreed before we start. There are no day-rate surprises and no scope creep. For larger or more complex organisations, a bespoke price is agreed at the initial conversation.

Many clients find the audit pays for itself within the first recommendation they act on.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to have any AI in place already?

No. The audit works whether you are starting from scratch or have already begun experimenting. In fact, some of the most valuable audits uncover why existing AI efforts have not delivered.

How much of our team’s time will it require?

Typically two to three hours . We need access to one or two senior people who understand how the business actually works. The rest we handle independently.

Will you recommend specific AI tools or platforms?

Only where it is genuinely the right answer. The audit is vendor-neutral. My job is to tell you what the opportunity is and what type of solution fits, not to push a particular product.

What happens after the audit?

That is entirely your decision. Some clients take the report and act on it internally. Others commission a follow-on implementation sprint. A number move into a monthly retainer for ongoing support. There is no obligation and no pressure.

Can the audit be done remotely?

Yes. The discovery session and final presentation work well remotely. The analysis and report build are done independently. If you prefer in-person sessions, that can be arranged for clients in the UK.

How is this different from talking to a technology vendor or a large consultancy?

A vendor will tell you their product solves your problem. A large consultancy will charge five times as much and run the engagement through a team of junior analysts. We bring 25 years of senior digital experience, we do the work myself and we have no platform to sell you.

Not sure where to start?

Most clients begin with a conversation. No pitch, no hard sell.

Just a straightforward discussion about where you are and whether I can help.
